Tewkesbury Park Golf Club had their own "Prize Bull" when
John Bullock won the majority of competitions held throughout the
2003 golf season.
John won:

Club Championship for 2003
Player of the Year
(Awarded for being the most consistent golfer in the Club. In
order to maintain his handicap of 3, John had to play to at least
2 every time he played and of those rounds, 9 of them John played
to under his handicap).

The
B Team Bash - 18 October 2003
The
B Team held its after season dinner. Tewkesbury
Park Hotel gave us an excellent meal
and the entertainment was provided with a Karaoke disco.
The
B Team Captain (Martyn Fell) presented Trevor Martin with a
golf plate for being Team Player of the Year. Colin
Newman won the day's competition and was presented with the
B Team Bash Trophy. Andy Moszczynski, who had acted as Fines
Master, stepped in to provide some jokes by popular demand (instead
of Martyn!)
The
B Team's impressive score for the season is Played 10 matches,
Lost 1, Drawn 1 and Won 8. So lead by Martyn
on the microphone (difficult to get him off it), Rick Hughes
as backing singer, there was a enthusiastic rendition of "We
are the Champions"!
And
of course, due to England's rugby win over South Africa in the
World Cup, what better song to sing than Swing Low Sweet Chariots! You
just had to be there..........!!
