| Lee
Wood is a young man aged 22 with a big ambition to become a successful
European Tour Player. He has the guts, drive and skills but he needs
a Sponsor. Can you help? Read about Lee and what he

| Background |
| Lee
took up golf aged 13 playing at Puckrup Golf Club near Tewkesbury,
Gloucestershire, UK. He then moved on to Brickhampton Golf Club where
he started playing some of the junior events and gained a place in
the Gloucestershire Junior County side.
Lee's
handicap fell from 18 to 4 in just over a year.
Aged
16 he took a year out to play golf and just practice.
For
the past 5 years, Lee has developed his golf and business skills
working as the Assistant Golf Professional in the Pro Shop at Tewkesbury
Park. Lee travelled to Florida in April 2003 to take part in the
Moonlight Tour. Click

- In
6 months:
Qualify as a PGA Professional
Qualify for the Euro Pro Tour
- In
12 months:
Obtain a top 3 position in the West Region Order of Merit earning
a place at Wentworth in the PGA Championships
Finish in the top 50 on the Euro Pro Tour earning a place in the
Tour Championship in Portugal
Gain experience to develop psychological strength
Earn enough money for support for the next year
- In
2 years plus:
To become a successful European Tour player
Represent his country
Participate in the Ryder Cup
Be at the peak of his psychological and physical strength

- Seeing
Chris Shambrook, a sport psychologist from Cambridge University
to improve on his mental game
|
- Seeking
tuition from Gary Smith at Wokefield Park. (Gary is the
coach to the England and Walker Cup squads and to a number
of Tour Professionals)

- Working
with Steve Poole,
Golf Conditioning and Injury specialist, to improve overall
fitness.
|
- Training
with Gloucester Rugby players, Clive Stuart-Smith and Mark
Irish.
|
